Humans with bird characteristics, multiple kinds of males, homosexual behavior attracts females

Hey, I can't remember everything, but I'm looking for a particular fic. I think it was from avengerkink, and was a fill for a prompt about a specific species of bird that has one female gender, but two (or was it three?) male genders. The males came in Masculine type, and also in a more androgynous "show off, make out with the males, hey, hey, look at me, look at me!" type, and scientists had found that females liked mating with males that were making out with the other type of male, and that both the manly males and the flirts with everything males had a better chance of hooking up with a female if they were also making out with their opposite type of male. Or something like that. Anyway, the humans in this fic also had similar gender types. Tony was, predictably, one of the "show off, look at me, hey there, hey, aren't I AWESOME!" types. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

It's a microfill, but that's the prompt and fill I was thinking of. The bird is the Ruff, and there are three types of male (Territorial, Satellite, and Faeder).
