James "Bucky" Barnes fanfic search help please!

Hello, everyone!

I've been looking for a fanfiction that i read a long time ago but I can't remember the title or author. The only thing i can remember is that: the OC has feelings for Bucky and they turn out to be correspondent. They are together but then bucky dissapears and other things happen (i don't remember it very well but i think the bad guys capture her ) and HYDRA convinces her to stay with Bucky, who was being brain washed and to talk to him everyday so he doesn't forget her face and trust her.

I haven't seen it in years. If anyone has any idea what I'm talking about, please feel free to comment!

Tony knows Bucky from Childhood?

I'm looking for a story I was reading a while ago, the bits I remember, Tony is a child when he first meets the Winter Soldier, Bucky keeps coming to see him over the years. When they finally meet as adults Bucky doesn't remember Tony.

Anyone know the story?

Specific Bucky/Tony

Tony is hiding Bucky in his lab, who isn't ready to meet the team. The team doesn't know he's there and thinks Tony is keeping something from him. They tie him up/gag him and force themselves into his lab, where they see Bucky. Upon Bucky seeing Tony tied up and kind of hurt, he ties to attack them until Tony gets free and stops him, then explains the situation.
Help, please! I know it was an on ao3 and I can't find it in my history, and I'm pretty sure it was complete.

He wakes when the cryostasis system fails, defrosting slowly in an underground bunker running on emergency power. There is still frost on his eyelashes when he wakes, shivering and disoriented, and his skin is icy cold.

The Martian crossover

I know I've read this on AO3, I even recced it once upon a time, but I could not find it now and IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY

This fic is pretty long, I remember it being somewhere like 30,000-50,000, mupti-chapter and completed.
It's basically a The Martian rewrite (very good one!) with Bucky being Watney and Steve being the Commander. It's slowburn Steve/Bucky. The other Avengers are the team and mission control but cannot remember who's who...

Bucky Recovery re: Howard fics?

Does anyone know any fics about Bucky realizing he kills Howard and being UPSET about it?

I’ve read a lot of fics where Tony is upset about it. But usually all those fics have Bucky oddly not caring at all, or only concerned about it in regards to the idea that Tony is upset.

Except, of all the kills possibly attributed to the Winter Soldier, Howard was the only one that Bucky KNEW and was possibly FRIENDS with. So, I kind of wondering if there are fics out there that would explore Bucky's thoughts/feelings about the event.

Any recs?!

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. crossover?

Hi guys!

I've been driving myself crazy looking for a fic where Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, and Darcy Lewis played the lead parts in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie from 2015, with Darcy as Gaby, Bucky as Solo, and Steve as Ilya, iirc.

The fic follows the movie for the first part, but diverts a bit towards the end, with a Jane Foster subplot.

I know I read it on AO3, and none of my searches came up successful, so I tried he WayBack Machine, and wouldn't you know it, Katiedid wrote it, and the WayBack Machine didn't save it.

Does anyone have this fic saved somewhere? It was published on September 25th, 2015 by Katiedid. It's called "The Man From S.W.O.R.D."

I read it it before I saw the movie, and I would really, really, love to read it now that I've finally caught with all the cool people.

Can you recommend some good Bucky fics that include any of the following:

1. Girl!Bucky, preferably Steve/Bucky, where Bucky is secretly a girl (but everyone thinks she is a man).

2. Fics where Bucky and Steve are together, and the public find out. Preferably humor fics.

3. Bucky/anyone other than Steve. Preferably long fics. While I absolutely LOVE Stucky, pretty much all the Bucky-centric fics I've read have had that pairing, so I'm interested to read something different.

Looking for Specific Hurt!Tony fic

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a Steve/Tony fic I read on AO3. Here's what I remember: Bucky pretty much hates Tony and Tony&Steve's relationship starts to fall apart because of that. I think Tony might have been jealous of Bucky?

There's this one scene where, in the middle of a battle, Tony saves Bucky from an explosion and they end up in a collapsing building together. Knowing that there isn't enough time to get them both out of there, Tony chooses to use the last of the power in his suit to propel Bucky out of the building. Tony says something like "take care of him" and saves Bucky. The last thing Tony sees before the building collapses is Bucky's horrified face.

Hurt!Bucky fics, protective!avengers?

Like the title says, I'm looking for some hurt!Bucky fics, with protective!avengers. In particular, I want fics where he disregards his well-being, treats himself as a weapon, and doesn't realise other people care about him, shows really reckless behaviour without caring if he gets hurt or not, ect. Fics similar to "By Choice or By Habit" by Sholio, "Lay Back, Lay Back" by Ultrageekatlarge, and " Keep You Going Through the Show" by Lauralot.

But yeah, I'd love it if the whole team were there, but if it's just Steve and Bucky that's fine too!

Recovering Bucky

Hello friends!

I've lost a Bucky- (maybe Stucky-?) centric fic that I don't believe I ever finished. All I can remember is that Bucky as the Soldier was conditioned to have certain responses to certain foods. In one scene, Steve encourages him to eat I think it was potatoes? or something at a diner, and Bucky thinks Steve read about the conditioning in his file and is telling him to vomit for some mission-reason, so he eats, and then does. Steve and Sam(?) are horrified (as is, presumably, the lady who has to clean up the diner).

AU of sorts to CA:TWS

Is there a fic where the Winter Soldier is hired to kill Tony Stark, and Steve keeps disrupting Bucky's mission, and at some point they have this fight session in a hotel room. The tv or something ends up being set on fire, Bucky gives Steve a blow job while holding a gun to Steve's head. Later Bruce calmly asks if Steve dropped his pants before or after setting fire to the room. Natasha first asks Clint to call in certain code, but Clint doesn't want to mention Steve and sex in the same sentence, that's wrong.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Bucky&Steve, not in love but might as well be

I recently (re-)read Issues by so_shhy, a Steve/Tony fic in which Bucky Barnes is a) 100% straight and b) 100% convinced that Tony is not good enough for Steve, and not afraid to say so. Ordinarily I'm all about the Steve/Bucky, but right now I'd like to read some more fic where they aren't especially attracted to each other, but get excessively involved in each other's private lives anyway.

Some suggestions that would fit the theme I'm looking for:
-Something like Issues, maybe involving one of them giving the "shovel talk" to the other's partner
-Matchmaking, if they put a really ridiculous amount of effort into it
-Everyone else assuming they must be dating because of the way they act
-Getting married for solely pragmatic reasons (e.g. hospital visitation rights--I read and enjoyed a fic like that once, but I can't remember the name now)

It's actually fine if they get together at the end, but I do not want any pining, thank you. (I have read too much pining lately.) Most of the fic has to feature them as friends content with their current situation.

Fics where they're in a romantic but nonsexual relationship (say, because one is ace) are not *exactly* what I'm looking for... but hey, if you know a good one, go ahead and rec it. Can always use more of those anyway.
