abusive Coulson, oblivious Clint

Ugh, this should be so simple, idk why I can't find the right AO3 tags.

Post Avengers, when Tony invites the team to move in with him, he and the others are mildly surprised when Clint is very very neat and tidy and doesn't decorate and sticks to a specific schedule for eating, but they pretty much decide it's trauma/grief/natural quirkiness and move on. After ever-more creepy hints that something is not right, I believe it's Tony and Steve who discover a heavily-notated SHIELD handbook which reveals how Coulson had governed every aspect of his and Clint's home life and convinced him that he deserved to be punished for infractions such as eating outside certain times and decorating incorrectly. Punishments that I can recall included going without food and having a prized bow smashed. Tony, Steve (maybe it was Bruce, but I think Steve) and Natasha are Very Unhappy with this and begin the long process of getting Clint into a better headspace about living arrangements. They agree not to try to convince him that Coulson was abusive because he's already mourning the guy, why make it worse? Pretty sure it ended without any sort of Coulson lives reveal.

Avengers never say thank you to Tony

Hi! I saw this once on this website, but it seems the post beens deleted or something? Anyway, the premise is basically that Tony does everything for the Avengers but they dont realize.

it has past mpreg, Tony's daughter's name is Michelle and she lives in the NY mansion, the Avengers dont know about her. He brings her to the tower under the pretense of her doing a school project and that she is the daughter of one of the maids. She is actually the one who asks Tony why they dont say thank you.

Steve likes(?) Tony and keeps sleeping with him when he's in heat. Tony thinks he's just, like, stress relief, and eventually ends up getting a collar-type thing to protect his neck from Steve accidentally biting him (like mating bite or something)

the collar, i know, is made of leather and has symbols on it, of a rattle (for michelle) and steve's shield

Tony cooks all their breakfasts, he knows what everyone likes and makes pancakes often, and only eats the first, burnt pancake. he always eats smaller portions than everyone else.

some of the other avengers try cooking instead, and tony gets upset that everyone has the wrong meal and that someone else got the burnt pancake and was saying things about how the other person didnt deserve to have the bad pancake

its just a lot of insecurity and sad but if anyone knows what this is, i would be v grateful!

Raped Steve

I apologize if it a trigger request, but I was looking for fix that have Steve Being raped. they have to be stories after he took the serum, and all the avengers are overprotective of him, also Loki and Bucky are overprotective too. I want to see the process of the rape to see his suffering and the pain inflected on him, maybe how he is lost and losing his faith in people and the new world.

please as much hurt and vulnerable Steve as possible.

also, if there are any stories with Steve/OMC, where the other man is the top but he is nice and very loving of Steve. the team may be shocked to know him later

Lab Rat Steve !

so it was in my mind, what if steve was being tested on and being studied, so he still goes to missions, work with the team but always called in to be tested and some of these tests are hard on him physically and emotionally but he does not think it is something to be frowned upon, or something he should protest on, he does not think he could say NO. then the team finds out or not, they help him or not does not matter as long as the story is with in this limit.

I would prefer it to be Stony (with bottom steve) of Gen but any other pairing is acceptable

Logan takes the kids to the Avengers

Life's a bitch when your wifi has been out for over a week and you can't find a story you're SURE you had saved. The one I'm looking for is a X-Men/Avengers crossover starting at Xavier's school. Logan is doing his best to keep John calm and from goin Pyro on Jean, who is constantly badgering him for every little thing. She storms up to him while he's outside relaxing and starts berating him for being lazy and for being...him, and he very nearly flares up. Finally, to keep himself from attacking Jean in frustration and anger, Logan takes Pyro, Rogue, and Iceman away to the Avengers. I'd apprecieate any help on this. I've been going through my saved files for two days an can't seem to find it.

Hello there! I've searched everywhere and for the life of me I can't find it(not even in my history*sulks*). Anyway, it was post-Avengers, where Loki is taken to Asgard for his punishment/trial. A spell is used on him, to a time before he turned "evil". To everyone's shock, he turned into a child. I can't remember the reason, but Thor takes him to Midgard, where he slowly bonds with the Avengers and they learn of his abuse and neglect from Odin and Asgard(Thor never knew). The main scene I remember is that Loki and Tony are sledding down a hill, Loki looking to the sky saying they are "calling me home" before being taken by frost giants. Laufey is very protective and learns of the abuse by Odin.

Any help is appreciated!

Very Long Multi-Part BDSM Universe Series

I remember quite a bit about this multi-part (I think it was close to 30 connected short stories) series that I'm certain was posted on AO3, but I can't find it in my bookmarks, so I was hoping that someone would know it offhand.

In this world, BDSM is the norm and everyone is a sub or a dom (though Tony, being Tony, is a switch, I believe, though I think he subs to Pepper). I think the primary pairing was Clint/Coulson (ironically, I can't remember who was Dom/sub, though I'm assuming that Coulson was the Dom), though as the series progressed, it explored many other relationships: Fury/Natasha - Dom!Fury and sub!Natasha), Steve/Bucky (Dom!Steve and sub!Bucky - that was a really heartwrenching part of the series and also the last couple of parts I saw posted). I don't remember with whom, if anyone, Bruce was paired, though it might have been Bruce/Betty.

Another plotline that was explored was that Justin Hammer was a sub who'd been misclassified (and abused) by his father into being a Dom. His crimes were actually somewhat excused when it was discovered.

Winter Soldier/Bucky looks for a new Daddy

I read this story a while ago and couldn't find it when I wanted to read it again. Takes place after the fall of Hydra in Winter Soldier. Kinda follows the movie in that Alexander Pierce was the main one in controlling WS/Bucky, but in this story their relationship is heavy Dom/sub. When Steve finds Bucky and brings him back to the tower, a confused Bucky assumes that Steve is to be his new Daddy. (Part of me is saying that there's a small chance that this Daddy figure may be Coulson, as an older man, but logic says he's looking to Steve, and Coulson isn't part of this story.) Steve is shocked and confused by Bucky's attempts to please his new Daddy and Bucky is confused and fearful over Steve's rejection, thinking he's going to be punished.

Basically, the elusive hawkeye is captured by shield and they are shocked that he is a sub. SHield figures out that Clint was forced into subspace to make him do their dirty work. Phil comforts him and brings him back up/provides aftercare.

Tony's not the cheater

After reading a couple of stories with a similar storyline I'd like to find any where Tony and (insert Avenger name here) are together and the others are 'protective' of the other person. Nobody, not even Pepper, bothers to look past Tony's reputation as a raging playboy so they're all just waiting for him to start cheating on his new lover (usually Steve but I'll accept anybody on the extended team). When the other person's attitude changes, everyone assumes it's because Tony's been cheating (or any other reaston to assume) but it's the other way around and Tony knows telling the truth won't do him any good. So he's silent while his heart breaks and the others turn on him and support the silent cheater. That could be either emotionally or physically. I've already read two such stories which either got lost in the shuffle of new fic or a WIP that I marked but didn't download. The first starts out with Natasha punching Tony and breaking his cheek. Tony later falls in love with another guy who dies of cancer. The second one has Tony coming home early to find Steve having sex with a woman on the couch. Steve's a jerk in this one, hating the fact that he's in love with a man and not liking the woman he's staying with only because he knocked her up. (Both of those stories I found searching this site, so they can be found with a bit of work...okay, the first one is "Newborn" at fanfiction.net) Thanks, all.

Stony, Bucky hates Tony, tries to take advantage of him

Okay, this story I know for SURE is on avengerkink but I can't find the exact thread.

The Avengers are returning from battle, and Tony has a broken arm/leg (can't remember which). The Avengers get called back out, but obviously Tony can't go back out. Bucky is there, and he is not very fond of Tony. However, he offers to look after an injured Tony while the others go back out. While the Avengers are out, Bucky starts attacking Tony, and I remember at one point Bucky has Tony on the floor and is planning on violating him. Right before he does so, he gets pinned to the wall by a pissed off Steve and all the other Avengers form a protective wall around Tony. I can remember Steve punching Bucky, and the story was established Stony.

Can anyone find this?

Poor Loki... :(

Hope someone can feed my newest addiction...

I just finished ConeyCat's amazing Housemates 'verse, where she delves deep into her interpretation of Loki's character, the misunderstandings that caused the events of 'Thor', the failings of Frigga & Odin's A+ parenting, etc etc. I'd love love LOVE to read more fics in this vein: where Loki's choices were caused by loneliness and misery, not by an evil streak, where redemption is possible; fics where Thor realizes he truly loves his brother, despite how he has ignored and excluded him in teh past. Fics where Odin didn't bring home a changeling child simply to use him to further his own kingdom, but rather because he couldn't let a baby die of exposure. Fics where Loki was the outsider growing up, was abused or neglected, etc etc etc.

Gen, Slash or Het welcome, just no Thor/Loki, unless you feel it is a truly amazing read. Happy endings (or at least hopeful) preferred, but I don't mind a good hard cry either!

Help finding Abusive!Steve fic

Okay, I originally posted this to the cap-im-finders livejournal. But, having no luck there, I thought I'd give it a go here.

The story is a series I read on ao3 and now I can’t find it. It has dark, abusive!Steve who beats Tony. It’s in Tony’s POV for the series and I remember a part where Tony mentions Steve wasn’t abusive before they got married, but the first instance happened about a week after they returned from their honeymoon. Steve and Tony were in the kitchen, cooking spaghetti, and something happened and they ended up spilling the spaghetti all over the floor, and they end up on the floor, Tony just laughs, and he expects Steve to do the same, but Steve slaps him across the cheek. Both are startled, and Tony runs away. Of course, Steve apologizes, saying he’ll never do that again, but of course that is not the case. From what I can remember from the story and the rest of the series, Tony tells how Steve has dragged him across the floor and has even broken some of his ribs. There’s a part where Tony says Steve doesn’t realize he’s killing his own husband. And people have asked Tony about his bruises and Tony blames it on being Iron Man, of course. And there’s parts where Tony suspects other people like Bruce and Natasha know he’s being beaten, but won’t come forward to help him.

Does anyone know how to find this fic? It was beautifully written and you just wanna cry for Tony. I will sell my soul to the person who can find this story/series.

one of the Avengers pushed to the outside

I've been reading different fandoms of fanfic for about a decade now and have run across this scenario in the likes of The Sentinel, Magnificent Seven, Buffy, Criminal Minds, and X-Files. Woke up this morning wondering if anyone had written such stories for The Avengers/Iron Man/Captain America/Hulk. Still working as part of the group, one member is kept/pushed outside of the circle socially or during downtime. Or forgotten once the battle is over and left to make their own way home. When parties or nights out are planned one person is left out, not even thought of to invite. Not so much like, "Oh, Bruce won't come, he doesn't drink," but the odd man out coming to the kitchen for a late night glass of water to find the others just getting in from a party he/she knew nothing about.

I just read most of the series First Impressions and Second Chances by lilsmartass where Steve and Clint, with the backing of Fury and Hill, let Tony know that, outside of the actual battles, he wasn't wanted, wasn't part of the team, even rejecting every gift or weapons upgrade Tony brought them. Harsh story but it left me wondering if there were any more like that, with any of the Avengers family left 'out in the cold'.

And the tags are just guidelines for what I'm looking for, not set in stone.

Update: Reading the stories suggested in a post from January I found "An Acceptable Loss" by RandomSlasher where Coulson wakes up alone in a Pennsylvania hospital about 4 months after the Battle of New York, with no sign of any visitors and no change in his apartment when he finally makes his own way back to NY. He feel totally abandoned and thinks that he was wrong in thinking that any of the team or even Fury were his friends. Turns out to be a paperwork glitch that made everyone think he was dead.

Any story like that one, where someone thinks that he/she is on the outside, even though it was never the case, also covers what I'm looking for here. And check out that story; its a good one.
