Hello! Relatively new to the fandom here and have already read so many wonderful fics and have so many more to go. <3

I am, however, wondering if anyone knows of any stories where Loki goes through a redemption of sorts and joins the Avengers? I've read lots of lovely fluff and entertaining crack, but would adore a chance to dig into a fic that makes him earn it, bit by painful bit, rebuilding his old relationships, building new ones, and maybe even rebuilding himself.

Thor/Loki is OTP, but any pairing (slash or het) built around that central storyline is also really cool.

Bonus points if it also has Loki finally dealing with his Jotun heritage in some form or another.

Mind whammy from Tesseract influencing his actions is also cool, just so long as it doesn't totally erase the red in his ledger.

Love this theme. I know redemption fics, and Avenger!Loki fics, and Loki-turning-good fics, but anon above me is definitely right in saying there's nothing epic quite yet (that I know of) that has all combined elements and really goes through the whole process of Loki earning it, from beginning till end. Still, may want to check this out:

This story is the closest to being the epic Loki redemption fic that I've wanted to read thus far. I really like how clever yet damaged Loki is in this story and how much effort it takes for him to get better slowly (with the help of Thor of course.)
