Jerk Steve

Hi!

I really, really need an outlet for my Steve hate that was only fed by CA:CW...

So please, please give me stories where Steve is a jerk, self-righteous, off the track, selfish or a bully and - this is important - has to face the consequences!
May it that he is kicked from the team, loses the friendship of the others (or of some), a dress down from Fury (Coulsen), on probation or whatever. But please no happy ending for Steve!

Short and painful to read; it's not so much 'Steve being a jerk and getting his ass kicked', as 'Steve's actions lead to tragedy and he realizes it much too late', but if you imagine how guilt-ridden he'll be afterwards... well. Definitely no happy endings for anybody.

I would really recommend the Team Iron Man tag from AO3. It has millions of stories about Steve beating an idiot and having to face the consequences. It’s been really helpful with my anger
