Shapeshifter Loki Escapes & Loki recs

I'm looking for a story I read some time ago. This is the only scene I can remember from it. Loki is a prisoner on Asgard and has been sentenced to (execution?). Loki escapes by turning into an insect (fly?) and hiding on Frigga's (shoe?). I think Frigga knew Loki was there and was helping him escape. Does anyone remember a story with a scene like this in it?

I've been on a Loki kick recently, so I'd also love to have any recs for your favorite stories where Loki is the protagonist and is not a total bad guy. Thanks so much!

I was deep into the SHIELD Codex stuff when it was still being written. If you'r all right with gen, it's pretty up there with some of the best imo. He starts off still pretty bad, but goes through this whole journey into being a better guy. With Coulson!
