Welcome to the Avengers fic search community! This place is primarily used for fic searches, but other fanworks are welcomed! Also, discussions. This is NOT a place to post your own fanworks, there are other communities for that. The tag list is found on the sidebar. You need one of the following tags in addition to other relevant tags.

If you want to request a tag, leave a comment on the Tag Request post.

There's also a Recs Compilation you can check out with links to recs journals/posts.

And now for the rules.

1. Please be courteous towards others. Don't be rude.
2. All searches for Avengers fandoms are accepted. This means you can search fanworks from any movies that fall under the Marvel Cinematic Universe, comic-verse, cartoons, etc.
3. Don't post your own fanwork This place is to post fanwork searches, not to post fanfic.
5. ANY types of fanwork seaches are accepted. This includes fanfiction, fanart, fanvids, icons, and recs.
6. Spoilers: Warning for spoilers/using lj-cuts will be in effect until two weeks after the last release date. Ergo, IM3 spoilers do not need lj-cuts. It's up to the OP if they want to do so as courtesy, but not a requirement.
7. Do not delete or strike through a post once the requested story has been found. Many comm members take any mention of a fic someone liked well enough to read again as a recommendation, so the posts are useful to other people besides the OP. (courtesy of parmalokwen)
8. Please provide a descriptive title to posts. This is helpful when trying to scroll through many posts. "Looking for a fic" is not descriptive, as most posts are for one or more fics. "The Avengers all switch bodies" is descriptive. "Favorite Darcy stories, please" is descriptive. (courtesy of parmalokwen)
9. Any posts that don't follow these guidelines will be deleted I won't warn you, I will delete the post. If a member continues posting entries that don't follow these guidelines, they will be banned from posting.

hi,
I'm very sorry.. but I can't seem to figure out how to make a new post here. I only manage to comment on other people's posts... and now I'd like to find a fic by asking for it myself..
I really love this page - I found lots of good stories because of it - but I'm too stupid to find a way to make my own request.
(I also tried it with my lj-account, but I couldn't find it either.. )

Angry Steve

I'm looking for a fic where Steve becomes angry with Tony and does something even Steve himself doesn't anticipate, like shoving or hitting him, but he ends up seriously hurting Tony and nearly has a panic attack realizing it afterwards.

The one in particular that I'm look for is the two of them in the kitchen and Stark puts his hand on Steve's should, trying to lighten the mood or something and Steve totally overreacts, throwing/shoving Tony into the counter or something and doing serious damage to his chest area/lung/arc reactor/ow and ends up waiting nervously by Tony's bedside for him to wake up.

I'm very nit picky about characterization and whatnot, so I wasn't thrilled with this fic per se, but the concept was pretty cool and I'd like to read more fics like that if you have them.

Hey... So, I'm looking for a fic where a blue alien starts trashing earth, and SHIELD captures it. Then, a few members of the alien species come and explain I think a mental problem with the alien. SHIELD asks to keep the alien for a few days to study it, in turn for the aliens taking Clint to study him. Then Clint is taken to this examination room on the foreign planet and this alien girl starts running tests and takes off his clothes and stuff. Yeah, that's all I remember, so, if you have a name of a fic like that please tell. OH! Btw, there's a fanart that goes with it of Clint from the back with only his right half visible, he's also not wearing clothes... And I think the overall color scheme of the fanart is either golden brown or bluish silver.

winged tony fic?

Hello all,

I'm looking for a fic where everyone has wings, but only Tony can see and use his. Coulson can see wings too, and diagnoses Tony as a sociopath to SHIELD or something. Thor says it's a gift that few have, and Tony doesn't see how? I think? Maybe Loki's there too? I don't quite remember.

Anyway, drop me a line if any of you have seen it :) (also, feel free to rec any wing-fics you mayhem across. there aren't nearly enough of them in this fandom!)

Would this be an okay place to ask for game recommendations? Specifically, of the many Marvel games out there, I'm hoping there's at least one decent game where Loki isn't Just A Bad Guy (which I understand he is in the Lego game and the apparently terrible movie tie-in game; not sure about others). It's not really a fanwork question--although if anyone's made a relevant fan game, that would be great too--so I figured I should ask here first if this would be an appropriate place for that question.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong in trying to post an entry on here. I joined the community and I don't see a 'Post an Entry' option on this page. It popped up on my own page after I validated the email but how do I post it over here? What do I type in the 'To Community' box? I typed in 'Avengers' then Avengers_search and got an error message about 'don't have access to requested journal'.
I'm new to this lol

It should've had "fic (specific)" but I accidentally overwrote it with the character tag instead of putting in both. Is there some way I can edit the submission in the queue before it's rejected? Sorry about that.

Hurt/Comfort/Angst/Team as family fics

1) Bruce is hurt and the whole team rallies around him.
2) Fic dealing with the effects of an terrible childhood as an adult- preferably Bruce or Tony. I wouldn't say no to a Steve fic either. Trust issues, ect.
3) Steve angst about being out of place. Team comfort.
4) The avengers learning to live with Bucky as he recovers. The potential truckloads of angst call to me.

Gen preferred, but I'm open to light pairings, BruceXTony, Stucky and well written Stony.

I just want to ask do requests centering around the tv shows Agent Carter or Agents of SHIELD fall under rule 2 as being acceptable to do searches about. I only ask because the bold part of the rule states "Avengers fandom" but the explanation part seems to open up the "Marvel" cinematic universe not just avengers.
