Wandering Child's author has said several times, both in the comments on the fic at AO3 and in the original kinkmeme comment thread (http://norsekink.livejournal.com/8802.html?thread=18509154#t18509154), that they had written themselves into a corner and that while they were reposting the fic to AO3 that did not mean they had found a way to fix that (at the time).
Basically, I think that all you can do is leave them an encouraging comment and hope the plotbunnies and muses start cooperating again. :)
P.S. I forgot to mention that there's a few parts/chapters that aren't reposted (yet) from the kinkmeme to AO3; the reposting left off at part 70 on the kinkmeme, you can read the rest there.
